As you know, too much business when you can't handle it is just as detrimental to the health of the business.
I need help - or suggestions anyway. We are generating many leads from our website daily for free quotes, but we are unable to handle the load. It takes quite a bit of time to give these and the customers don't like to hear $xx per Square foot, meaning they have to figure it themselves. Obviously there are a few ways to handle this but am not sure the best way to go.
1) charge for estimates, not my first choice
2) offer an upgraded express paid estimate service, but then we have more obligation to deliver asap.
3) better qualify leads coming in.
I choose 3 but am not sure how to go about this without turning away the many leads we are collecting.
