A couple of factual corrections.
1. NLC performed more than 30 RedDot CMS and LiveServer deployments between 2000 and 2006. In about half of these cases, we were asked to save a failing deployment – our definition of rescue mission.
2. We continue to work with most of the clients for whom we performed RedDot deployments – providing technical, strategic and marketing services. In some cases, we have helped the client move to a more cost-effective, industry current CMS. Our assumption is that these clients are satisfied as they continue to engage us for expertise.
3. NLC and RedDot/OpenText had very different views of how best to serve a customer’s interests. This philosophical disagreement resulted in us no longer being partners. At the time the partnership was discontinued, we had one of the largest, most-experienced RedDot deployment teams in North America.
4. The NLC team has completed more than 100 CMS deployments on a variety of platforms for clients around the globe – including the United Nations, Canadian Cancer Society, Ball State University etc. We learn something from each deployment and capture this knowledge in our whitepaper series – available at http://www.nonlinearcreations.com/whitepaper. I’d encourage readers of this post to review these documents to judge our approach and capacity.
Again – I invite the poster to contact me directly. I’m pleased when clients send compliments, but I’m more interested in understanding where we can improve. Whether you are a former client, ex-employee or, possibly, disgruntled RedDot employee, drop me a note at rwoods @ nonlinear.ca
Thanks. |
