For some years now, they have been represented together at various trade shows and events. The two businesses complement each other quite well: Hummingbird comes from the classical document management sector, while RedDot offers successful solutions in the area of web content management. Even though both enterprises have kept expanding their portfolios in order to provide a complete ECM suite, neither of them has so far achieved this goal alone. Hummingbird has now taken an essential step towards this goal. The two systems make for an excellent combination, which is also supported by the fact that both software solutions have been offering mutual interfaces for quite some time already.
