Is there an open API as programming interface?
WebGate Anywhere can be expanded with individual functions using a Java API.
As WebGate Anywhere bases on Java Server Pages, additional functions can be integrated using JSP.

How can templates functionally be extended through a script language?
WebGate Anywhere templates are defined using the XML-based layout language WebTML. Inside WebTML server-sided JavaScript can be used as espression language (TMLScript).
Additionally Java can be used directly within the templates.

For which application areas are there finished software extensions?
In WebGate Anywhere Apache FOP (Formatting Objects Processor) has been intergrated. With FOP completely dynamic PDF documents, SVG documents or Postscript documents can be generated online (for more, see http://xml.apache.org/fop).
