eConferencing Suite – the virtual Conference Centre
The Hyperwave eConferencing Suite allows for the participation in meetings without the need to leave ones working desk. Be it an ad hoc meeting of two persons or recurring meetings with any number of participants, the eConferencing Suite provides features such as:
- Text Chat and Instant Messaging
- Simultaneous Audio and Video Communication
- Shared Whiteboard
- Application and Desktop Sharing
Hyperwave eConferencing Suite is tightly integrated into Hyperwave's Collaborative Information Management platform. It provides single sign on functionality and enables users to be visible when online and available for eCS Sessions (presence awareness).
Different Meeting Types – different Meeting Scenarios
The Hyperwave eConferencing Suite provides different meeting types that can be applied to various meeting scenarios. Collaborative meetings are best suited where intense interaction between the participants is important: in such meetings each participant is allowed to use any communication feature. In Managed Sessions the meeting host is able to determine what communication channels the participants are able to use. That way multiple presentation scenarios can be realized (e.g. Virtual Classroom) where participants can communicate only via text chat. If required one or several co-hosts can be named. Participants will then be able to support the presenter during the meeting.

The most important factor in the world of collaborative Enterprise Content Management is the ability to capture new information and make it accessible. With the Hyperwave eConferencing Suite each session can be saved within the Hyperwave repository and be fully re-played later. Hyperwave's standard features like full text indexing and access control apply to these saved sessions, assuring that information can be accessed and searched upon easily by anyone with the right authorization.
