Can individual contents be assigned to categories?
Yes. Content be assigned to several categories at the same time.

Can data be saved in a profile through a user when accessing to the website?
inQuire2 supports profiles to provide a different view of the site, via templates.

So for example you might have a high contrast profile which displays the site with high contrasting colours in addition to the normal look. Each user could then choose between the high contrast and normal profile (look) of the site.

Can personalised websites be implemented for individual users? If yes, with which technology?
Not easily. All that can be done is to change what content they can view but that is all.

Is there an integrated profile management for user profiles?
No.

How is a user recognised on the website (cookie, URL, etc.)?
Session cookies are used. Each time the user logs into the site the cookie is recreated.
