Are the individual components of the website administrated in a file system or in a database? If database, is it a system-owned database or can also other database systems be used?
MySQL database. Others are possible.

Is there an integrated media database for pictures, among others?
Yes.

Is there an integrated search function for the website?
Yes.

Is there an automatic link verification with a corresponding correction?
No.

Is it possible to design a generally valid navigation, which is adapted to the context?
D++CMS seperates navigation and content management. This offers maximum flexibiliy, but you have to take care how pages are linked with the navigation.

Can earlier versions of the website or individual components be reestablished and if yes, to which extent?
Yes. In the database modul you can create as many backups as you like. They can be easily restored.

Is there an integrated template editor?
No. Templates are created by the web agency (D++). They are part of the design and should not be manipulated by the user.

Can external editors be integrated? If yes which?
Content can be added by drag & drop or copy & paste.

Is there an object-oriented authoring?
D++CMS is frame based. This means each page can contain serveral textfarmes. there is only one template per page.

Can multilingual contents be administrated?
Yes.

Are multilingual clients available?
No. The web interface is English only.

With which techniques can an editor transfer contents to the system?
Text and data: Direct editing (WYSIWYG), drag & drop, copy & paste. Images and files: intigrated upload or FTP.

Which possibilities are there for editors to work on contents?
Integrated WYSIWYG editor. Or object based editor with separate preview.
