Are the individual components of the website administrated in a file system or in a database? If database, is it a system-owned database or can also other database systems be used?
They are managed in a system-owned database Must be one of the following: MSSQL, Oracle, IBM DB2 or PostgreSQL.

Is there an integrated media database for pictures, among others?
Yes. There's an integrated media database named the "Image archive". It supports metadata and you can structure all images in different folders. Individual access can be granted for these folders.

To which extent are templates used?
There are different template types. All style sheets are created in XSLT. There are also document type (content type) templates that are configured in XML using the admin console.

Is there an integrated search function for the website?
Yes. All content is indexed and searchable. We recommend a third party engine for advanced searches where you want hit percent and file indexing (pdf, doc etc.)

Is there the possibility to automatically generate sitemaps and index sites?
Sitemaps are created from site menu structure.

Is there an automatic link verification with a corresponding correction?
There's a manual link verification report.

Is it possible to design a generally valid navigation, which is adapted to the context?
Yes.

Is there an integrated version backup?
Coming in next version ETA october/november.

Can a version backup be implemented through additional software?
No.

Can earlier versions of the website or individual components be reestablished and if yes, to which extent?
Just through restoring a database backup.

Is there an integrated template editor?
Third party client application.

Can external editors be integrated? If yes which?
All text and XSLT editors.

Is there an object-oriented authoring?
No.

Can multilingual contents be administrated?
No references between content in different languages.

Are multilingual clients available?
Yes. Currently English and Norwegian.

With which techniques can an editor transfer contents to the system?
Import and copy&paste.
