CREATOR (you@web Content Manager)

Is there an open API as programming interface? The open programming interface is a component of you@web. Due to the import mechanism and the removal into the Template DB, functional extensions to the you@web Content Manager can be effected without changing the source code or losing the update capa-bility. In version 6.3 all Domino design elements (forms/masks, views, pages, agents, etc.) can be imported via the central administration of all customized design elements into the Template DB. In addition, there is the option of using customized web error message pages.
Due to these features a still more extensive customizing of the you@web Content Manager can be achieved while retaining the update capability. If required (e.g. by you@web Alliance Partners), the source code will be revealed. you@web can then be integrated into other Notes-based solutions. How can templates functionally be extended through a script language? Templates like the input templates for content authors are developed by means of the "Lotus Script", "Java Script", HTML, or the Notes formula languages. Thus templates can be flexibly adapted to the individual enterprise. For which application areas are there finished software extensions? The you@web Content Manager can be supplemented by the following products or compo-nents by CONET AG:
· y@w Knowledge Director: Transformation of information from external data sources into a website or portal
· y@w Form Builder: Enables the creation of simple feedback forms (web forms), without programming subforms (e.g. for polls) and without developer know-how.
· y@w Business Suite: Office Suite for the structured processing of inquiries from the I*net (e.g. job exchange with application management or customer inquiry with CRM).
