CREATOR (you@web Content Manager)

Which document types can be imported? All web technologies supported by the Lotus Domino server can be imported or exported:
· XML
· Text, images (gif, jpg, …)
· Flash, video (mpg, rm, …)
· PDF
· ZIP files
· HTML, Java, Javascript, ....
In addition to that all Lotus Notes standard interfaces can be used (e.g. use of MS Office based content). Can external database accesses be implemented? Yes. The you@web Knowledge Director provides a possibility to select, personalize, and transform information maintained in external data sources (e.g. Domino DBs or RDBMS) into an attractive presentation on a website, automatically and based on pre-defined rules. A double administration of information can therefore be avoided, and large volume websites may be realized at small maintenance costs. How can exisiting websites be imported? On the one hand, existing websites can be integrated as content into the you@web Content Manager’s own website using Content Links. In addition, existing HTML files can also be merged into the you@web Content Manager. Data from an existing web appearance on the basis of Lotus Notes can be transferred into the you@web Content Manager by means of a migration toolbox.
