open-EIS LT-CRS
The approach of the open-EIS SP-CRS is simple: offers of the service providers can be booked directly from the service provider over the travel agencies and internet portals. However, the actual implementation is a real challenge. The SP-CRS will be integrated in the existing touristic IT-equipment of the IBEs (Internet Booking Engines), operator systems, CRS systems etc. so that the offers of the service providers appear on the counter of the travel agencies or in the search of the internet sites.
They have to reach the customer in order to be booked. Quotas are supported, because they are necessary for the package holiday orientated Germany with the existing travel business culture. The SP-CRS has also come up with the detail solutions resulting from the many possibilities as far as “prices”, “reservation”, ”booking”, “cancellation” and “accounting” are concerned. The open-EIS SP-CRS “Print-on-Demand” solution supports personalised catalogues and detailed personalised travel information for the customers. This solution is particularly suitable for the tourism providers and tourism organizations also in Germany.
