 How is the system technically protected against access from others? The TOOLPARK pc3 back-office access is protected with client identification, username an password. For higher security needs reverse proxies, VPN and specialized security products can be placed in front. The database can be operated in the DMZ or in the intranet. The application itself can only be executed logically by the integrated TOOLBITS. Are there pre-defined groups within a role concept? No. To make starting easy there are pre-defined groups and users within the basic installation, but these can be changed freely. Can the groups within a role concept be freely defined? Yes. One can define any kind of group with functional and content rights and roles. These groups can be organized simple or complex, flat or hierarchically. Which kinds of notification to individual employees does the system know? Every user has his personal workspace, where he can organize all his work in progress and his tasks. In addition, every user can be reached through his e-mail account. Is there an authorisation cycle which is defined or can be freely organised for publications on the website? The authorization cycle is pre-defined. All contents have a working, staging or live status. The status of a content can be changed depending on the individual rights of the user. In addition there are different staging views for management, authors and webmasters. Is there a protection against inadvertent simultaneous access of several people to one document? As soon as someone edits a content, it is automatically checked-out and no longer editable by other users. Which kinds of system-internal task lists and status information are there? Every User has his personal workspace, where he can organize all his work in progress and his tasks and where he can manage his bookmarks to frequently used functions an contents. The status of contents is visible in the site structure, in the content repository and in the task list of the user. Are authorisation procedures supported?
