Text items, pages and other entities are saved in a database. Multiple database systems are supported. Integration/linking with existing database-based environments is possible.
All uploaded files are saved into the website's file system.

Is there an integrated media database for pictures, among others?
Uploaded pictures and mediafiles are saved on the server. Meta-data about the files is saved in the system's database.

version, authorisation, date of creation, date of last edit, expiration date, publication date, additional meta-information

Totally template-based
