All data is stored in a SQL database.

Is there an integrated media database for pictures, among others?
You may store binary files (Images,...) in the SQL database.

- Date of creation

- Creation-author

To which extent are templates used?
All page are based on a page template.

Is there an integrated search function for the website?
Yes, for searching values while using the CMS.

But it is not available on live server, therefor we must say "no" here.

Is there the possibility to automatically generate sitemaps and index sites?
Yes, RSS-Feeds, Menus, Sitemaps. In Openrat this is called a "dynamic" element in the page template.

Is there an automatic link verification with a corresponding correction?
The CMS publishes pages with correct internal links.

Is it possible to design a generally valid navigation, which is adapted to the context?
If you add a page, this is - of course - viewable in the menu of a page.

Is there an integrated version backup?
There is a builtin versioning for page values.
You are able to re-use old values.

Can a version backup be implemented through additional software?
Yes, with self-made scripts while publishing.

Can earlier versions of the website or individual components be reestablished and if yes, to which extent?
You are able to re-use page values out of the history.

Is there an integrated template editor?
Yes.

Can external editors be integrated? If yes which?
A builtin wiki-editor and the FCKEditor (fckeditor.org) is included.

Can multilingual contents be administrated?
Yes, you are able to store page values in multiple languages.

Are multilingual clients available?
The browser-interface is available in english,german,spain,russian,french,italy.

The language, which your browser request, is used.

With which techniques can an editor transfer contents to the system?
- Files: Upload or WebDAV
- Texts: Copy+Paste :)

Which possibilities are there for editors to work on contents?
- Use the browser :)
