Which operating systems are supported?
Linux, Unix, Windows NT and newer, Windows Server

Client: Windows95/98/NT/2000/MX, Apple Macintosh OS8-X, Linux/Unix

Which web servers are supported?
Webserver with support for PHP, XSLT, and URL rewriting.

Recommended: Apache 1.3x or 2.x, lighttpd

Which database systems are supported?
MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. other relational database management systems can be easily integrated using the database abstraction layer.

Which script languages can be used?
PHP 5, XSLT (Template language). It is possible to include the output of external scripts or applications using special modules.

Is additional software required for the normal system operation?
In addition to the web server, papaya CMS needs a database server and PHP with acitvated XSLT extension.

Which prices does the product have?
Free in the terms of the GPL, commercial licenses depending on the intended use.

Which target group(s) do you address with your product or services?
Medium-sized and larger companies, media groups, government organizations.

Which technology/architecture is used?
papaya CMS sets great value upon open standards like XML for data storage and XSLT as a template language. The system itself is written in the open source programming language PHP.

According to which models are the licence costs calculated?
No license fees have to be paid when papaya CMS is used within the limits set by the GPL. When you plan to use papaya CMS commercially, e.g. by distributing it under a license, special license fees arise.
