 Which document types can be imported?
ContentXXL is much more than just presenting texts and pictures. Every business process can be content. As many possibilities are there for importing content into the special modules, for example HTML-documents into HTML Module and XML documents into XML Module, contacts to Contact Module etc. Files can be imported to Filebox Module using drag & drop and WEBDAV. Can external database accesses be implemented?
Yes, the modular concept of contentXXL allows the definition of modules for page-parts, which are integrated in the content management framework and have special customer defined funtions. Modules can also support external data-sources like XML or databases. A cache function is available. How can exisiting websites be imported?
Yes, existing static websites (HTML) can be imported into HTML Module. If static content is splitted into metadata it can also be used in content objects such as contacts or announcements. The expense depends on the quality of the site (e.g. CSS or comments).
