Authorisations are based on forms or on Windows Domain / Active Directory (AD). Directory services as AD, NDS or LDAP can be involved. Single-Signin is offered for AD. AD-Groups can be related to roles and user-data can be synchronized with directory services automatically during login or per batch. Are there pre-defined groups within a role concept?
Yes, the roles of administrators, chief-editors, editors and users are always available. In addition to that any other groups can be defined. Can the groups within a role concept be freely defined?
Yes, groups within a role-draft can be freely defined. In this way access rights on site-, modul-object- or language level is granted. For a better handling access rights can be summarized to policies. Which kinds of notification to individual employees does the system know?
The internal workflow is based on a task-oriented object-referring joblist and can be supported additionally by E-mail or SMS. Is there an authorisation cycle which is defined or can be freely organised for publications on the website?
Yes, a release-workflow for different objects is possible. The different steps can be defined over access-rights and publishing-rules and may be combined with tasks. Is there a protection against inadvertent simultaneous access of several people to one document?

The internal workflow works over a central tasklist. That list shows upcoming jobs by status and urgency and refers to roles and users.
