To which extent is XML supported by the system?
The basic technology Microsoft .NET supports XML as a key-component. XML is used as an import/export format or in some cases as storage format. Media-neutral content can be offered as XML - especially as webservice. A special moduletype supports the representation of XML-based content via XSL-Templates. That, as an example, makes content management supported maintainance of multimedial microsites with Macromedia Flash possible. Content can provided as webservice or RSS newsfeed without additional programming.
