Prior to the actual foundation by former staff of the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering in 1999, we had already had considerable success with distributed information systems in the field of cutting-edge technology. Combining scientific methods to evaluate new standards with software architecture for actual commercial IT projects has greatly contributed to our ability to meet core customer needs for long-term, expandable IT systems.
Ever since The e-Spirit Company GmbH was founded, our team of graduate computer scientists has succeeded in realising numerous, complex and security-oriented projects both cost-effectively and on time. Our competent project managers can contribute their experience to these projects, future projects and the further development and improvement of our standard software, FirstSpirit.
Our science-based company philosophy stopped us from basing such a comprehensive product on the experience of one particular customer project alone. Instead, our software architects have drawn on the wealth of knowledge gained at Fraunhofer, including fundamental ideas on architecture, components and object models. Our processes are logical, starting with analysis, then design and finally implementation. This is the only way we can continue to develop FirstSpirit without resorting to a changing technology or paradigms. The suggestions and desires of our customers are directed into the development of FirstSpirit.
We have proven that the FirstSpirit platform can handle highly complex systems more than once. Shining examples include the development of Santander Direkt Bank AG‘s complete online banking system based on FirstSpirit. Our team not only implemented the HTML frontend, but also the critical background applications as well. This encompassed the consolidation of customer data, the integration of diverse backend systems as well as the providing for the connection to the bank‘s stipulated legal system.
Our company places a great deal of emphasis on helping each customer achieve their goal and providing them with the support they want. This means customers can constantly choose which of our company‘s services they would like to take advantage of alongisde our software. The portfolio ranges from the delivery of the pure software to supervising complex IT projects including the delivery of turnkey solutions.
