Content Management Europe 2005 will be held from 29 November – 1 December 2005 in the Grand Hall at Olympia, London and will run alongside the Online Information exhibition and conference.

The three-day CME event incorporates an exhibition of the leading providers of information management solutions. Companies such as Arbortext, Atkins Global, Canon (UK) Ltd, EMC Documentum, EIBS, Goss Interactive, Immediacy, MediaSurface, Microsoft, Mondosoft, RedDot Solutions, Solcara Ltd, SpectrumITech, TDNet e-Content Management and Web-Labs, will be amongst those exhibiting at this year’s show.

Online Information is the world's no.1 event for information content solutions. Content Management Europe was launched alongside in 2003 in response to the growing market for information management solutions. Together the shows attract over 10,000 international information managers, knowledge managers, records managers, content managers, librarians, IT professionals, academics, publishers and information users.

The Online Information Conference, which runs parallel to the exhibitions, sees leading industry commentators, consultants and professionals, top academics and key vendors exploring the major issues and key trends shaping the industry, and predicting developments for the future.

In 2004 CME launched a conference stream specifically dedicated to information management titled Managing Enterprise Content (MEC). MEC is returning in 2005 with a programme spanning all three days of the event. Highlights include:

Day One - Enterprise content management – experts will discuss CMS implementation, the future of ECM, and the integration of records management with other business processes. Experts taking part include CM Guru Bob Boiko plus representatives from The BBC, The Butler Group and KPMG Australia.

Day two - Information architecture - ambient findability is tackled in a keynote session from Peter Morville, considered to be the founding father of information architecture. Peter will also be moderating a case-study based session with presentations from the University of Beirut and the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Day three - Enterprise search - new perspectives in enterprise search are explored by a notable panel including speakers from Google, Ovum, SAP, and Arnold Information Technologies. This is followed by an enterprise search panel debate from Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Arnold Information Technologies, Google, Endeca, Vivisimo Inc, and Du Pont.
