Fast and efficient online - M-real Zanders employs PowerSearch for finding the right paper
From now on, customers of M-real Zanders will find searching for the right products on the company website even less complicated and work intensive. Since 19th June 2006, the company has been making the PowerSearch search function available on the Internet. Each type of paper has special qualities; the product search via paper characteristics provides the customer with a list of all important product qualities enabling the user to find the right type of paper. Already knowing the name of the required product in advance, a full text search will lead the customer to his target via the product name. If the customer knows the purpose of the paper he wants to use, however, does not know which paper is suitable for the intended use, the selection search will provide help via the application suitability. Having found the right product, he can then view and order it by mouse click.
The flexible import/export mechanisms of the Product Information Management System infuniq by communicode lets product data, entered and maintained by Zander easily break up into parameterisable and researchable attributes and configure it via PowerSearch. The system is J2EE based and can be adapted to personal optical requirements via templates.
The Zanders website is based on the Enterprise Content Management System RedDot of RedDot Solutions, Oldenburg. With over 1,600 references, RedDot is the leading provider of Enterprise Content Management Systems in Europe.
