Realistic turning of pages also on the Internet: as from now, Deichmann customers will be able to browse online through the most up to date shoe fashion brochures to find the latest trend models of the season at their home computer. This has been made possible by a new type of animation technology. As the print version serves as a template, the appearance of the online brochure with fully turnable pages corresponds exactly to the print version. Visitors of the Deichmann website will be able to save and print relevant pages. Using the practical bookmark function in form of coloured post-it notes, individual brochure pages can be found again quickly. If the customer has decided on an article he likes he can quickly order it online from the comfort of his home at Deichmann The Shop. One click on the required article is sufficient to transfer the customer directly to the online shop of Europe’s largest shoe retailer.

communicode has been responsible for realizing the Deichmann flip brochure on the Internet. Based on existing PDF data of the print version, the Essen based company will in future produce flash flip brochures for Deichmann’s marketing site using the current flip catalogue software of their Düsseldorf technology partner Cominto.

Since August 2003 already, communicode in their capacity as lead agency has been in charge of all online activities of the Deichmann group in Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Poland and the Netherlands. The range of services on behalf of Deichmann includes amongst others strategic advice, visual conception, text as well as regular updates of all online sites.
