The RedDot premium partner and content management specialist complexx.com (www.complexx.com) announced on this year’s CeBIT that it is merging with the Austrian RedDot premium partner and internet provider ecom internet technology (www.ecom.at). The objective: To implement the increasingly complex online projects of companies even better by joining forces. "In today’s market, customers expect internet service providers to be competent in a large number of specialized areas. It is our goal to create a company that can offer these kinds of scalable solutions", explained Christoph Mause, the Managing Director of ecomplexx. With its 75 employees at locations in Hamburg, Leverkusen, Munich and Wels in Austria, ecomplexx will become one of the largest RedDot service providers in Europe. The company exhibited on the CeBIT for the first time under its new name ecomplexx at its RedDot booth in hall 3, booth D09.

One of the main reasons for the merger is internationalization. Going forward, ecomplexx will expand internationally to achieve a higher degree of customer loyalty. The company plans to use its subsidiaries and partner agencies to implement customer projects throughout the EMEA region. ecomplexx’s first step towards internationalization was its already created network of RedDot partners in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. This network offers participating partners the opportunity to implement international projects with regional partners and thus to provide their customers with comprehensive, international service.

"The demand for e-business and CMS solutions as well as the need for professional and sophisticated consultation services is increasing; not only in Germany, but throughout Europe", explained Christoph Mause. "I am looking forward to working with ecom internet technology. Its employees as well as their experience and RedDot know-how complement the capabilities and resources of our team extremely well.

The merger between complex.com and ecom internet technology also adds to their RedDot know-how and competencies in the areas of Online Marketing, Rich Internet, Microsoft SharePoint, and integrations in the SAP environment. In addition, the Adobe Flex experiences of ecom internet technology make ecomplexx the largest European partner of Adobe in terms of Adobe Flex technologies.

23.04.2008, Christoph Mause
