Pironet NDH records strong growth

The dynamic growth trend at Pironet NDH received a further boost in the 3rd quarter of the year. While the rate of growth in sales compared with the same period last year was 49% at the half-year mark, by 30.9.2004 it had risen to over 60 %. Total sales of EUR 24.5 million meant that the figure for the entire year in 2003 (EUR 20.9 million) had already been exceeded after just three quarters.
Profit levels also showed significant improvement: with EBIT of 0.75 million and a net financial result of EUR 0.34 million, performance in the 3rd quarter has already outstripped the levels for the entire first six months of the current year. In comparison with the figures for the corresponding 9 months of the previous financial year, EBIT (EUR 1.3 million) has increased by 160 % and profits before tax (EUR 1.9 million) by 72 %. The net financial result has remained constant compared with the previous year at EUR 0.6 million.
The Cologne-based software and IT company recorded another record quarter between July and September. Despite this strong growth, the company still achieved a quarterly EBIT margin of 7.5 %, up from 4.1 % at the half-year mark. Financial resources improved slightly to EUR 36.0 million or EUR 2.47 per share as at 30.09.2004.
