Stellent Releases META Group White Paper on Compliance

Stellent, Inc. provider of content management solutions, released a compliance white paper authored by META Group, an information technology research and consulting firm.
The paper — titled “How Information Technology and Business Organizations Can Meet Global Compliance Mandates” — discusses ways in which an IT strategy comprised of a global view of content and information management can help organizations cope with the growing challenges associated with compliance; gain positive, enterprise-wide benefits in terms of efficiency and expense management; and reduce the risk of non-compliance. In addition, the white paper outlines how content management solutions can help companies meet global compliance mandates.
“Compliance is becoming widely recognized as a far-reaching issue that demands a unified, cohesive approach from both the business and IT sides of an organization,” said David Yockelson, senior vice president for META Group. “Comprehensive content management suites can provide companies with the technical infrastructure and functionality required to efficiently unite all compliance efforts across an organization.”
“Compliance often covers a broad arena for many companies and can involve specific regulations for corporate accounting, manufacturing, health care and financial services, among other mandates,” said Dan Ryan, executive vice president of marketing and business development for Stellent. “The Stellent® Universal Content Management system and Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution provide a strong, unified foundation for supporting and managing multiple compliance initiatives throughout a company. These solutions have been utilized by numerous organizations across a wide variety of industries to meet critical compliance mandates effectively.”
