Stellent, Inc., provider of content management solutions, announced that Crescendo(TM) 2005, its second annual global user conference, will be held Jan. 31 - Feb. 3, 2005 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, Calif.

The four-day event will provide customers, partners and industry experts with a forum to share ideas, expertise and best practices related to content management technology. Crescendo will give attendees opportunities to see how industry peers are experiencing high return-on-investment (ROI) and increasing efficiencies with Stellent(R) Universal Content Management; learn about new Stellent technologies from one-on-one discussions with Stellent experts, developers, trainers and consultants; obtain hands-on experience in a high-tech demo lab; and find out about Stellent add-on modules that can help extend customers' investments.

During Crescendo, Stellent also will introduce and recognize the winners of the Stellent Customer Success Awards -- a new program honoring Stellent customers who are creating outstanding value and driving rapid success in their organizations with Stellent technology. More information about these awards, including a nomination form, can be found at www.stellent.com/customerawards. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Dec. 17, 2004.

"We are excited to merge Optika's International Summit into Crescendo for the first time, providing our combined customer base with an opportunity to learn about Stellent's entire business and product line at one comprehensive, educational event," said Robert Olson, president and chief executive officer for Stellent. "Crescendo is an ideal networking environment for Stellent users, employees, partners and industry experts, and we expect it will generate useful dialogue and information exchange that customers can quickly apply to their content management implementations. We look forward to welcoming attendees to this valuable and worthwhile conference."

Additional Crescendo highlights include:

The sessions are grouped into four tracks: Technical, Applications, Products and Integrations.

The conference also will feature a Partner Expo, where attendees can browse through partner exhibits to learn about their solutions and technology integrations.

* Keynote Speaker
Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind man to reach the summit of Mount Everest, will share his experiences climbing the mountain as well as completing his seven-year quest to climb the Seven Summits -- the highest peaks on each of the seven land continents.
