BrowserMedia announced today the launch of a new website based on BrowserCMS (TM), BrowserMedia's Web Content Management software. The website (www.cldp.doc.gov) is a critical communications tool for the Commercial Law Development Program of the Office of General Counsel at the United States Department of Commerce.

BrowserCMS (TM) is designed for those clients that require frequent, direct updates to the information contained within their websites. It is a complete Web Content Management System that supports web content re-use, workflow, and management of special content types such as press releases and events. The product enables a client's non-technical staff to add, edit, and delete Web content through an easy-to-use Web based interface.

An updated version of the software, BrowserCMS (TM) 2.0, is set for release in early January. "It is hard to imagine managing a website today without a CMS," says Kerry Gunther, BrowserMedia CEO. "It has become a standard operating practice for corporate, association, and government clients."
