New homepage for 100th anniversary of Dentsply DeTrey Ltd.

For a short time the new homepage of Dentsply DeTrey Ltd. is online. The content management system used for internet and intranet is add.min’s Enterprise Edition.
To be mentioned above all are the electronic product catalogue and the directions for use as well as material safety data sheets for all products, which help obtaining information quickly and make sure that it is always up-to-date.
Electronic product catalogue with add.min-Shop
A main requirement of the new web presence was to integrate data from the print version of the product catalogue into the product presentation on the website. Add.min-Shop takes over the data of the print catalogue and displays them on the website including a search function. The product data are transmitted to add.min-Shop with only a few clicks.
As compared to the print version the electronic product catalogue has the advantage of always being up-to-date.
With the add.min Liberty-Server it will be possible to edit the website in the intranet and transfer it via database-replication onto the provider’s server. The web contents on the live-server will be updated automatically in the process.
The Liberty Server contains an exact copy of the web contents on the customer’s server and therefore protects the customer’s inhouse server against attacks.
Moreover, the Liberty Server prevents the customer’s internet bandwidth to be over-used by normal website requests, which results in a much better performance.
