The Stuttgart-based MAHLE GmbH confirmed the purchase of a corporate license for the you@web software line developed by Hennef-based CONET AG. The deal had been initiated by you@web partner Lingner Consulting New Media from Jagsthausen. MAHLE, globally active manufacturers of piston, filter and valve components for the automobile and motor industries, plans an overall redesign of their company-spreading I*net applications.

The license purchased by MAHLE covers the corporate use of the you@web products Content Manager, Form Builder, Knowledge Director for Web Solutions, and Knowledge Director for SAP Enterprise Portal. A decisive factor for buying the using rights of the software had been the integrated web and portal strategy of the you@web software portfolio.

In the upcoming months the realization of a company-wide intranet for an optimized distribution of information among MAHLE’s employees in offices all over the world is going to be started. Next year the relaunch of the “www.mahle.com“ website is to be undertaken on the basis of you@web. For 2006 a complete integration of Notes applications and data with MAHLE’s SAP Enterprise Portal with the aid of the you@web Knowledge Director for SAP EP is planned.

MAHLE GmbH is one of the world’s major manufacturers of high-quality components for the automobile and motor industries and supplies some of the most renowned makers of combustion engines with a widely diversified product portfolio including high-quality components and systems like pistons, engine parts, filters and valve systems. MAHLE has its corporate headquarters in Stuttgart and currently employs a total of around 30,000 staff at 60 different locations in Europe, America, and Asia (www.mahle.com).

you@web partner Lingner Consulting New Media is based at Jagsthausen and has been supporting MAHLE in consulting and implementation in regard to all kinds of IT issues. (www.lingner.com).
