Major Upgrade Offers Enterprise Level Web Content Management Features to OmniUpdate

Incorporating feedback from users, WebsiteASP, Inc. announced the release of new features to its OmniUpdate web content management system. Scheduled web page publishing, scheduled reminders, clickable navigation trails (bread crumbs), and preview file locking are among the new features released.
Scheduled Publishing allows users with publishing authority to easily schedule exact times and dates for edited pages to go live. Scheduled Reminders allows users to schedule a reminder email to be sent to them when a web page becomes "stale." These powerful new features help keep time sensitive pages current -- both in the present and future.
Other new features that improve the usability of OmniUpdate include navigation trails for more easily moving back through complex directory structures, and Preview File Locking that allows users to view the exact status of all files that are locked or available to them.
"The concept isn't new, but it does make us stand out. We listen very carefully to the ideas of those who actually use OmniUpdate and incorporate as many of their ideas as possible. Our product doesn't just solve problems; it evolves to exceed expectations. We're very excited to offer these latest features," said OmniUpdate President and CEO Lance Merker.
With product families for both businesses and educational institutions, OmniUpdate solutions have been used to make over 2 million web page updates. New features like these are one of the many reasons OmniUpdate receives such high praises from its users.
Colleges, universities, and businesses are benefiting from and succeeding with OmniUpdate for a variety of reasons. OmniUpdate relieves IT burden, increases efficiencies and consistencies, and can be used by current staff with only basic word processor skills. 27.01.2005, WebsiteASP, Inc.
