Release Picturepark Version 5
Swiss solution developer Vision-IT AG announces the official release of Version 5 of its Media Asset Management solution Picturepark™. Version 5 features the storage of data in project folders, simplified publishing as Websites and automated production of printed matter.
Swiss IT solution developer Vision-IT AG announces its official release of Version 5 of Picturepark™. Picturepark is a mature Media Asset Management solution used by international enterprises enabling them to manage their media files in a convenient, structured and efficient way.
Version 5 of Picturepark facilitates the retrieval of data due to improved search functions. Additionally, Picturepark enables the storage of different files in project folders and their easy publishing as so called Online Publications in the Internet. Such Online Publications can be fully customized regarding their design and functionality to the customer’s target groups needs. Modules based on this technology are in use world-wide: They serve journalists with media kits, strengthen sales support in the corporate intranet or thy help sell pictured articles over an e-Shop.
Vision-IT notices a high customer driven demand in the area of print-on-demand. For such demands, Picturepark supplies its Premedia module which enables enterprises to automatically generate standardized printed matter like product folders, catalogues, ads, serial letters or business cards. After easy step-by-step production in Picturepark, the Proof of the printed matter is automatically waiting for approval and then directly delivered to the printer.
Under the surface Picturepark has been thoroughly revised and adapted to the current standards in the area of programming.
