Vision-IT wins Atel as customer for Picturepark

Vision-IT Ltd. wins the Swiss enterprise Atel as another major customer for its Media Asset Management system Picturepark™. Picturepark™ for Atel facilities the management and exchange of digital assets and has been deployed as a Server solution. Atel with headquarter in Olten is the leading Swiss Europe-wide operating enterprise in the area of power generation and trade.
Using Picturepark™ Atel manages primarily their images and logos. All files are stored in the central Media Asset Management system and can be fetched de-centrally and trans-sectoral by all authorised employees of headquarter Olten, Switzerland or any other subsidiary company within Europe. Picturepark™ was deployed in February as a Server solution at Atel’s site.
Atel is another well-known customer of the Swiss IT solution developer Vision-IT Ltd., which has developed itself the Media Asset Management system Picturepark™. Picturepark™ has been awarded with a Swiss ASP Award for innovation, user friendliness and market maturity and is used amongst others by The Swiss Post, Swatch, Siegfried, Ammann Group, Tissot, Certina, Audemars Piguet, Diethelm Keller Group or Swisslog.
Atel (Aare-Tessin Ltd. for Electricity) is the leading Swiss Europe-wide operating enterprise in the area of power generation and trade. Core competencies of Atel include power generation and energy services. Atel disposes of own grids and significant production facilities. In financial year 2004 revenue of Atel has risen by about 32 percent to 7 billions Swiss Francs and group-profit increased by about 25 percent to 339 billion Swiss Francs.
