At CeBIT 2005, Intershop Communications, provider of e-commerce software, announced new pricing options for its Enfinity Suite 6 product. As part of a major sales offensive, Intershop is now offering mid-sized businesses a highly attractive, low-cost opportunity to get started with this powerful, proven e-commerce solution.

The three flexible price plans for the company’s Enfinity Suite 6 packaged software are a targeted response to the diverse business requirements of Intershop customers, however they feature the same functionality across all plans. The Express Price Plan represents a particularly attractive pricing model for mid-sized businesses, while also offering larger customers the chance to deploy powerful e-commerce software at a compelling price. The Standard Price Plan is optimized for customers with high-end requirements. The On Demand Price Plan allows customers to benefit from a pricing model based solely on usage. Licenses start at just €0, with the variable cost component linked to the customer’s transaction volume.

“Innovation through experience! Successful e-commerce—more affordable than you think” is the tagline chosen by Intershop for presenting its Enfinity Suite 6 solution at CeBIT 2005 (Hall 5, Booth B 18). The software provider will be showcasing its latest e-commerce application, now optimized for the open source operating system SUSE LINUX.

“Combining the cost-cutting potential of open source technology with the company’s tried and true business functionality, this solution provides the best performance ever offered by e-commerce pioneer Intershop,” explains Ralf Männlein, the Intershop board member responsible for sales and marketing.

The Intershop booth at this year’s CeBIT will see an addition in the shape of new partner Novell. Featured products include the SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 certified Enfinity Suite and Novell Multi-Channel Retail Solution powered by Intershop. This solution combines Intershop’s Enfinity Suite 6 with the Novell Nsure identity management product and Novell’s SUSE LINUX retail solution for payment systems. For the first time, retailers are being offered a packaged application capable of addressing additional sales opportunities arising from the convergence of online and offline sales channels.

Attend the Intershop press conference at CeBIT 2005 to see Intershop CEO Dr. Jürgen Schöttler, Ralf Männlein, Intershop’s head of sales and marketing, and Horst Nebgen, managing director of Novell Deutschland GmbH, present the first major customer reference project resulting from the successful partnership between Intershop and Novell. The press conference is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on March 10 in room 105/106 of the Convention Center.
