Intershop Ends CeBIT on a High Note

Intershop struck an optimistic note at the end of the world's biggest computer show. The company's partnership with Novell is already delivering results, with the first joint customer reference project being presented at Intershop's annual press conference. Additionally, Intershop launched a new pricing model for its packaged Enfinity Suite 6 software, as well as successfully positioning its E-Commerce Express end-to-end solution for mid-sized companies.
At this year's CeBIT, Intershop unveiled a new sales strategy built around three new price plans for e-commerce solutions based on Enfinity Suite 6. Teaming with Novell is a key element in this strategy: the Novell Multi-Channel Retail Solution powered by Intershop combines e-commerce with the payment systems of offline channels for the first time, helping customers to grow revenues across the enterprise.
A turnkey offering enables companies to enter the online arena at low cost. E-Commerce Express is an end-to-end package featuring all the functionality of the standardized Enfinity Suite 6 software. The fact that the package includes software, hardware, and services for a flat rate makes it particularly attractive to mid-sized businesses.
"Our conversations with customers and partners have confirmed that the Intershop brand enjoys high recognition and an established image," says Intershop CEO Jürgen Schöttler. "Every year, CeBIT provides us with important feedback. It's apparent that our alliance with Novell and the new Enfinity pricing options strengthen our position in the market for packaged e-commerce software."16.03.2005, Intershop Communications AG
