FileNet Attains SAP Certified Integration for Its FileNet P8 Application Connector
FileNet Corporation, provider of Enterprise Content and Business Process Management solutions, announced that its Enterprise Content Management platform, FileNet P8 has achieved SAP certification for integration of its new J2EE-based Application Connector with the SAP NetWeaver(TM) open integration and application platform. The connector provides seamless interoperability between the SAP® R/3® software solution and FileNet's P8.
FileNet's P8 Application Connector provides users of SAP R/3 with a high-performance, highly scalable solution for Enterprise Content Management. As a result of the integration, users of SAP R/3 can directly access and view critical documents stored and managed by FileNet P8 that are related to their SAP solution-based transactions, directly from the SAP user interface.

FileNet's P8 Application Connector achieved SAP certified integration at the Unisys Enterprise Performance Lab in Mission Viejo, Calif., with Unisys' ES7000 Enterprise Server providing the functional certification on SAP ArchiveLink 4.5 based on the HTTP Content Server 4.5 interface and also a performance certification based on the Performance Load test. 10.05.2005, FileNet Corporation
