Hot Banana Software Inc., provider of Web Content Management and e-marketing applications, has announced the shipping of its new product – the Hot Banana Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite™. The announcement was made from the Hot Banana booth at the AIIM ON DEMAND Conference and Expo, May 17-19, 2005 in Philadelphia, at Booth #3323.

The Hot Banana Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite consists of the Hot Banana Web Content Management Suite, and the Hot Banana Active Marketing™ Suite. All versions are shipping immediately, either as Hot Banana On Demand, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or, as Hot Banana Licensed Software.

In the first integration of its kind, that is shipping to clients today, the Hot Banana Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite™ will allow non-technical users to take total ‘hands-on’ control of their online marketing and communications and give marketing professionals the ability to:

* execute a Web-First marketing strategy
* create and manage Web site content
* make content changes on-the-fly
* follow workflow and approval processes
* optimize their Web sites for search engines (SEO)
* manage their digital assets
* launch Internet marketing campaigns, such as:
* e-mails
* Press Releases
* RSS Feeds
* Micro Marketing Sites
* Landing Pages
* Blogs
* Newsletters
* Forms
* Subscriptions
* Product Catalogues
* automatically implement and manage WebTrends page tags and meta tags
* easily create WebTrends content groups for automatic campaign tracking

All Hot Banana Active Marketing programs and campaigns can now be easily tracked by using WebTrends 7 On Demand Web analytics to measure results and Web site performance. Improvements to the Web site and marketing activities can then be made, such as tweaking and changing the Web content, so the campaign can be fine tuned, either while it’s in progress, or optimized in preparation for the next scheduled campaign.

A Hot Banana Active Marketing powered Web site becomes an e-marketing platform for creating Web site content, lead generation campaigns, acquiring and capturing sales leads, improving conversions and building customer retention.

“Clients are asking us for more pro-active Internet marketing capabilities to be optimized, launched and managed directly from their Hot Banana Web Content Management Suite,” says Krista Lariviere, President, Hot Banana Software Inc. “With our new Hot Banana Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite, we’re seeing the logical convergence of traditional content management, Internet marketing, SEO and Web Analytics, all into one e-marketing platform. Active Marketing™ is a solution we have developed for marketing professionals who can use the Hot Banana Web CMS to manage their tight budgets with limited resources, and yet still create fast-to-market lead generation campaigns with an optimized conversion funnel, while still ensuring the consistency of content and brand integrity.”

“Marketing Professionals lack control over their Web site and e-marketing strategies as expensive and resource stretched IT departments and Interactive agencies tend to bottleneck the process,” adds Krista. “As measurement and ROI remains the missing ingredient in marketing. The Hot Banana Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite helps to solve this problem by making marketers more Web-savvy by giving them all the Web analytics, control and accountability over their Web site content and Internet marketing initiatives in order to improve their decision making.”

The Hot Banana Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite is ideal for companies of all sizes, for corporate Web sites, Intranets, Extranets and Micro Marketing Sites, with multiple URLs and in multiple languages. Hot Banana is also great value, feature-for-feature, versus other leading Web Content Management Systems (CMS), as either Hot Banana On Demand, Software as a Service (SaaS), or as Hot Banana Licensed Software.

The Active Marketing Web Content Management Suite provides an excellent opportunity for Hot Banana’s Channel Partners to offer their clients a feature-rich, W3C compliant and competitive Web CMS with built-in Active Marketing, based upon the Macromedia ColdFusion, J2EE platform. Hot Banana is also looking for new e-marketing-savvy Channel Partners who are either; Web technology integrators, Web CMS specialists, search engine marketing firms, interactive agencies, Web analytics specialists and Internet services firms, who would be interested in offering their clients enhanced and integrated Internet marketing, SEO and Web Analytics capabilities within a Web content management suite.

19.05.2005, Hot Banana Software Inc.
