Armedia to Speak at Momentum, EMC European Content Management User Conference in Barcelona, Spain

Armedia LLC, provider of content management and content related solutions in the southeastern United States will be presenting at the Momentum Barcelona conference on May 26, 2005. Speaking at the conference will be Jim Nasr, CEO for Armedia, and Mandy Lowey, principal user experience designer for the Armedia Source Code Management application. They will both be speaking about developing applications with EMC Documentum technologies.
Mr. Nasr will be presenting a case study about how Armedia built a custom Documentum Compliance Manager (DCM) solution for Mikart Inc., a recognized leader for providing formulation development, contract manufacturing and packaging services to the pharmaceutical industry. The case study will cover how the Armedia regulatory compliance team successfully concluded a 21 CFR Part 11 compliance development and validation effort for the Atlanta based pharmaceutical. Mr. Nasr will explore the challenges of developing a custom DCM solution to support non-standard eSignature and sequential workflow functionality to meet compliance requirements for Standard Operation Procedures and electronic submission.
Ms. Lowey, along with the EMC Documentum User Interface (UI) Design team, will give a joint presentation on how the Armedia products team employed EMC Documentum UI Best Practices for the Web Development Kit in designing the Armedia Source Code Management (SCM) application. Armedia SCM, a brand new WDK application built entirely on EMC Documentum’s 5.3 technology, offers version control, next-generation Content Transfer (UCF) for import, export, check-in and check-out, spanning folder hierarchies, and build management to package and execute source code builds. Building on the EMC Documentum UI Team’s presentation about their UI standards, Ms. Lowey will talk about the challenges and solutions associated with designing a brand new application that needs to conform and occasionally enhance with Webtop paradigms. 23.05.2005, Armedia LLC
