MAN Intranet Will Run on you@web by CONET
Munich-based MAN AG trusts in CONET to create their corporation-wide intranet solution. More than 60,000 MAN employees are going to use the new information exchange that will be structured and implemented from scratch by CONET, using their own you@web software line. In addition to the distribution of information, MAN is also planning to integrate selected software applications and expanded collaboration functionality.
The technological foundation for this ambitious project is provided by all the different applications that are part of CONET’s you@web line of products, having been developed for an easy creation and maintenance of web solutions based on Domino/Notes technology. The key element is the Content Manager in its latest 6.5 release. It is supplemented by the Form Builder for creating most diverse web forms and the Personalization Manager, a tool that ensures a targeted allocation of information to different user groups. Another specialized application, the you@web Knowledge Director, takes care of the integration of external Domino as well as non-Domino data and applications into the intranet. The new solution’s entire maintenance and administration will be handled solely by trained MAN employees, who will have individually customized web interfaces for the creation and modification of intranet contents at their disposal.
