IntraWeb Studio 2.0 - Powerful Content Management made easy
Atozed Computer Software Ltd. released IntraWeb Studio Version 2.0. IntraWeb Studio is the first completely .NET based content management system (CMS) with powerful features such as multi-user and teamwork support, template support, multiple language support, flexible variables, remote deployment and deployment to staging areas. IntraWeb Studio is available as free standalone desktop version (Personal edition), and as web service based client-server version (Professional and Enterprise editions).
IntraWeb Studio targets small to medium sized organizations both in scope and in pricing. It is designed to easily handle large volumes of documents and files, and it provides role based user management.
IntraWeb Studio can manage websites, create online documentation and it can publish blogs and RSS feeds using it's built in iterators and RSS mechanisms.
IntraWeb offers an easy to use system for maintaining multi-language web sites. This multi-language system includes auto-language detection, fallback to default language and out-of-sync recognition.
IntraWeb Studio contains a powerful WYSIWYG HTML editor, but it also integrates with any external HTML editor.
IntraWeb offers two different deployment modes, both modes can easily be used with rented shared webservers.
Static Mode: Produces plain HTML files, which may be used on all Web server platforms (Windows IIS, Linux Apache and many more)
Dynamic Mode: Produces aspx/iwp files, which may be used with ASP.NET enabled IIS Web servers on Windows platform only. Using dynamic mode additional features such as automatic language detection and routing are available.
IntraWeb Studio is offered in two models:
Personal and Desktop Editions for smaller Web sites maintained by a single user. Both editions are stand alone programs that store the all documents and files in a local database and publish to a web server.
Professional and Enterprise Editions for Web sites of any size maintained by multiple users. Both editions provide a client / server architecture: All documents and files are stored in a repository server. The IntraWeb Studio Client (a Microsoft .NET application) connects to the repository utilizing a web service transport; and the user edits all documents online.
IntraWeb Studio is licensed per repository server. IWS Professional includes one repository server license. IWS Enterprise can be installed on any number of repository servers.
IntraWeb Studio comes with a native .NET Windows client that connects to the repository server (Enterprise and Professional only). This client is freely available for download and can be installed on any number of workstations. There are no per-user or per-seat license fees.
All editions can deploy to any number of web servers (production and staging servers for example). There are no per web server license fees.
