E-commerce software provider Intershop announced the opening of a new office in Bensheim, near Frankfurt. This move by Intershop reflects an increased sales focus on the company's home market, coupled with an expansion of coverage. In addition to corporate headquarters in Jena and the newly opened office in Bensheim, Intershop has offices across Germany in Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Berlin.
The new office will primarily be a base for sales staff, with the location chosen because of its proximity to the important Frankfurt area and the business centers of the wider region.
Ralf Männlein, the Intershop board member responsible for sales and marketing: "We expect the new office to generate significant demand and help build closer relationships with clients throughout the Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia regions. The expertise of the staff working out of the Bensheim office will be a valuable addition to our organization."
Intershop recently announced plans for major investment in Germany over the next few months involving the creation of up to 30 new positions in sales and consulting services.
