At the 2005 Macworld Conference and Expo, FileMaker Pro 7 will be showcased at a MacIT session presentation by Rosemary Tietge, Publishing Technology Manager for the Harvard University Press, on Thursday, July 14, from 2:00-3:15 p.m.

At the session -- "Applied Content Management on the Macintosh: a Case Study on Harvard University Press" -- Ms. Tietge will outline how Harvard University Press manages and tracks all pertinent information for hundreds of projects, from editorial development through sales and marketing content management.

Managing one of the world's leading publishers of scholarly books, with up to 250 new publications each year, the 80-member staff of the Harvard University Press must keep track of essential research, content, production and marketing processes. The session will show how the Press has integrated the Macintosh server operating system (including Tiger) and FileMaker Pro to enable all workgroups, including editorial, design, production and accounting, to access information about all Press products.
