CMS webEdition is first choice independent tests

Within the last weeks the CMS webEdition was compared in independent tests with further well-known Content management systems. webEdition got the seal "budget recommendation" from IT magazine Internet Professionell and became test winner in the MACup (both German magazines). The quality of the XHTML support for the design of accessible web sites was emphasised by the German online specialists Barrierekompass due to the outstanding abilities. With the simultaneously available version 3.4 the newly developed Voting module can be used, which fully corresponds to the philosophy of the webEdition supply politics with regard to investment safety.
Votings and voting groups for web sites which are maintained with the CMS webEdition can be produced, tied and cared with the new module. The installation and operation corresponds to the usual webEdition "look & Feel". The votings are managed over the system surface independently by the web site design and can with new specific commands (we:tags) be integrated into the web site. The data evaluation also is integrated into the using concept. Data can be exported via CSV if a graphic processing of the evaluation results is for example desired. With one voting module at a price of 59, - Euro (plus VAT), it is possible to produce unlimited amount of votings per domain and to add unlimited amount of answer possibilities to every question. On the basis of free definable evaluation periods, up-to-date trends can be questioned as well as visitor opinions on several days, weeks or months. It isn't necessary to carry out additional configurations or other technical commands to be able to offer this service to the visitors of the web site. Furthermore closed votings exclusively for registered customer can be carried out at installed module customer administration/customer administration PRO. 21.07.2005, Marco Rauer, webEdition Software GmbH
