Westbrook Technologies, provider of document management software, announced AutoStore Connector for the Company’s Fortis and File Magic product suites. AutoStore Connector, developed by distributed capture workflow leader Notable Solutions, Inc. (NSi), integrates with Fortis and File Magic to form a complete integrated scan, capture and document management solution, enabling end-to-end document capture and routing. Simple and powerful use of document routing workflows allows organizations to concentrate on processing rather than routing information.

The AutoStore route component for Westbrook’s products simplifies the end user experience for capturing documents from an MFP or a digital copier to a single click. If needed, users can enter additional information on the panel of the MFP/copier to dynamically index their documents in the application. In addition to simplifying the capture process, AutoStore allows users to capture documents from multiple sources such as Microsoft Office, desktop PCs, hand-held devices and others with the same simple user interface.

The AutoStore server-based workflow enables system administrators to manage and control multiple devices from one central location, ensuring proper procedures and rules for content routing into the document management system. This structured approach easily organizes content into Fortis and File Magic from anywhere within a distributed organization.

As the leading capture workflow application, the AutoStore framework is adopted by many leading manufacturers of on-ramp devices such as MFPs and digital copiers including HP, Kyocera, Xerox, RICOH, Sharp, Canon and others.

" We have worked closely with the Westbrook development team to build a solution that leverages the document management functionality of Fortis and File Magic with AutoStore’s strength in information capture workflow, and the integrated products provide a comprehensive solution at the moment of scanning,” said Ali Tehranchi, President and CEO of NSi. "We will be working closely with Westbrook to provide this solution to their users and resellers in the coming months.”

Paul Lord, Westbrook Technologies’ President and CEO, added, "We are excited to partner with NSi to deliver this new technology to our customers around the world. This new product offering permits users to extract additional value from their technology investment and have more functionality at the time of document capture.”
