HomeJob purchases Enfinity Suite 6 software

HomeJob Deutschland GmbH has chosen Enfinity Suite 6 e-commerce software from Intershop to manage its sales channels and establish an online wholesale operation. With this deal, Intershop gains an important new customer as a result of its recent efforts to target the mid-sized segment.

"Intershop has had an established market reputation as the leading e-commerce innovator for 13 years now,” says HomeJob MD Dr. Günter Fichtner. "That made Intershop the obvious choice for us. In terms of our requirements for this project, no other software provider seemed to represent a realistic alternative.”

To be realized within just 3 months, HomeJob expects the new e-commerce portal to attract a considerable number of new customers both in the B2C and B2B sectors. Over the next 3 to 4 years the aim is for the portal to attract approximately 10,000 new online stores, which will be managed via sub-wholesalers and business partners.

The e-commerce system will leverage the Enfinity Suite 6 consumer and partner channels. The Enfinity solution features many standard functions, such as order tracking, discount and voucher promotion options, and extensive self-service functionality for end customers. Integration of an ERP system is also planned. The software is based on Enfinity MultiSite technology, which enables seamless integration into back-end systems.
