aXs Info Releases Version 3.0 of Its Core Suite of Document and Content Management Products
aXs Info, Inc., provider of document and content management solutions for any size organization, announced the release of version 3.0 of the aXs suite of products. Using the latest technologies from Microsoft has enabled aXs Info to enhance its already easy to use software with more advanced features for both users and administrators of the software. This includes enhanced image clean up during the scan process, drag & drop importing of documents (imaged or non-imaged files) and the ability to use the newly introduced auto updating feature to download new versions or updates of the product. The auto update feature ensures that customers have the latest versions immediately without the need to have software shipped on site.
Along with these enhanced features for users and administrators is an open and enhanced API for developers. Now the aXs Info technology can be used as it is packaged, or can be easily customized to meet specific application or vertical market demands. According to Steve Britton, Chief Technology Officer of aXs Info, "The new aXs API enables end users and our value-added resellers to have the right tool to create custom products based on particular needs. We are offering this flexibility due to the market demand for a truly open and extendable solution that can be easily customized based on the business environment."
One of the most exciting features being introduced (currently in beta testing) to the aXs Info 3.0 suite is the smart client. The smart client allows remote users the full functionality of the regular application, but works across the internet without the need to make changes to your organization's security standards. Companies looking for a distributed scanning / indexing solution now have one that can be deployed to users easily and securely.
