Interwoven, Inc., provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, announced that its upcoming GearUp '05 Europe ECM Solutions conference, scheduled to take place October 19-20, 2005 at the Riverbank Park Plaza hotel in London, is poised to be one of Europe's leading ECM-focused conferences, attracting world-class European customers, partners, and ECM industry experts for two days of educational and interactive sessions on ECM solutions and best practices. The event will feature a PartnerNetwork Pavilion sponsored by premier Interwoven partners including Sun, Microsoft, Accenture, eCopy, BEA, Deloitte, and many others; keynote addresses by Gartner, Interwoven customers BT and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, and Interwoven executives; and, an exclusive gala reception with UK comedian and television star Jimmy Carr.

Following on the heels of the widely successful GearUp U.S. event held in May 2005, Interwoven GearUp Europe will offer over 30 track sessions designed to provide attendees with valuable insight into how to maximize the value of their ECM technologies, best practices for ECM implementations, and how to select the right ECM products and solutions. Track sessions will be tailored to the needs of the European market and will focus on three key areas: solutions; case study; and developer. The event's theme reflects a fundamental focus for European enterprises and professional services firms: learning to 'Profit from Your Content.'

"Interwoven's GearUp U.S. event was an impressive success. GearUp Europe should be as high quality and worthwhile for companies across Europe looking to leverage ECM technologies," said Stephen Stokols, Director eChannels, BT. "The event offers highly-targeted sessions lead by Interwoven customers and users designed to educate attendees on ECM solutions and best practices."

In addition to keynote presentations by Interwoven customers BT and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, attendees will hear from other customers about how they have improved business processes, reduced costs, streamlined compliance, and increased productivity with Interwoven ECM solutions. Additional customer presentations will be given by: Adidas; Hilton International; Lloyds TSB; Uria Menendez; Xchanging; Banca Popolare di Milano; and Brodies, a leading Scottish law firm.

"As a long-standing Interwoven customer, we recently expanded our Interwoven ECM implementation and continue to look for opportunities to further extend the success of our content management practices through the adoption of new ECM technologies," said Michael Neff, CIO at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen. "We are looking forward to attending Interwoven's upcoming GearUp Europe conference not only to present to other Interwoven customers on the ECM successes we've achieved with Interwoven solutions, but to gain valuable insight into Interwoven's technology roadmap, learn about other Interwoven solutions, and to network with Interwoven executives, partners, and other customers."

The PartnerNetwork Pavilion at GearUp Europe will showcase the latest ECM innovations, including over twenty Interwoven partners displaying their newest solutions and services. The pavilion will feature a mix of legal/professional services partners, as well as enterprise technology and systems integrator partners from across Europe. Partner highlights will include demonstrations of ECM solutions developed on top of Interwoven technology to address a range of content management business processes from enterprise web content management to document management to risk management.

"Over the course of the two days, attendees will have a unique opportunity to hear first hand how companies across Europe and vertical industries are utilizing ECM solutions to their advantage, learn about partner-developed ECM solutions, and network with peers who are equally as focused on solving content management challenges. Attendees should come away from the conference with key strategies they can put in place immediately to start profiting from their content."

The exclusive gala event at Interwoven GearUp Europe, scheduled for Wednesday, October 19th, will feature live entertainment from popular UK comedian and television star Jimmy Carr.
