Intershop Successful in Scandinavia
Largest Nordic electronics retailer uses Intershop software for online sales
Intershop Communications, provider of e-commerce software, announced that its Enfinity Suite 6 software is now also being successfully deployed in Scandinavia. Elkjop, the Nordic region's biggest electrical chain, has chosen this product from the Jena-based software specialist for its online retail channel. Intershop's e-commerce solution allows online sales throughout Denmark, Norway, and Sweden to be fully integrated into the Norwegian company's existing sales structure. Elkjop is one of Intershop's biggest Scandinavian clients.
Elkjop is part of DSG International, Europe's leading retailer of consumer electronics. The products on offer include telecommunications, music systems, photographic equipment, and computers. Last year, Elkjop posted revenues of over 1.5 billion euros.
