Stellent Receives "Strong Positive" Rating in WCM Report from Leading Industry Analyst Firm

Stellent, Inc., a global provider of content management solutions, announced today it garnered a "strong positive” rating in Gartner, Inc.’s "MarketScope for Web Content Management (WCM), 2005”1* report. As announced last week, Stellent also was listed in the "leaders” quadrant in Gartner, Inc.’s Nov. 7, 2005 "Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management (ECM), 2005” 2 report. Gartner (NYSE: IT) is the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry.
The WCM MarketScope report focuses on WCM software vendors that target large and midsize businesses with licensed server-based software. The 16 identified vendors provide comparable WCM offerings with a broad feature set, supporting a wide variety of corporate functions. According to the report, vendors receiving a "strong positive” rating are solid providers of strategic products, services or solutions. Existing customers of these vendors are advised to continue investments, and potential customers are advised to consider these vendors a strong strategic choice.

Stellent recently released version 7.5 of Stellent Site Studio. The new version addresses all users involved in multi-site management — information technology staff, Web developers, site designers, content contributors and content consumers — offering expanded Web site lifecycle management capabilities and more robust, flexible in-context contribution. Site Studio 7.5 also leverages Stellent’s new digital asset management and records and retention management functionality.
Gartner also named Stellent in the "visionaries” quadrant in the "Magic Quadrant for Financial Compliance Process Management Software, 2005” 3 report.
