With the current project "Santé Jeunesse," the four prominent business enterprises in Freiburg (CH) emphasize the promotion and preservation of health for young people. Project leaders have decided to employ CONTENS for the bilingual Internet project, which recently launched.

The goal of the "Santé Jeunesse" project is to get young people in the Swiss canton of Freiburg more involved and aware of health in general. Local leaders want to raise consciousness regarding public health by holding open conversations and numerous promotional activities.

Communication regarding the "Santé Jeunesse" project's current status occurs regularly on the website www.santejeunesse.ch and appears in a set of newsletters geared towards the ca. 10,000 school-aged citizens in the region. Project developers worked with the Content Management Solution CONTENS in order to bring out to their latest report. Work groups get access to the content management system and can report progress on their project without any problems, thanks to CONTENS' easy-to-use user interface. Creating and maintaining content in French and German is also not a problem. Integrated translation views and helpful tools in CONTENS support editors as they're doing their work. The entire online offering additionally includes integrated panels about health topics and lists with helpful contact addresses answering typical health-related questions that young people have.

"Santé Jeunesse" is operated by the four pillars of the Freiburg economy from the four columns of the Freiburg economy: the Freiburg Kantonal Bank (FKB), the Freiburg Electric Works (FEW), the Kantonalen Property Insurance (KGV) and the Transportation Office of Freiburg (TPF). Chantal Epiney, project chief of the Freiburg transportation offices was very pleased with the results: "CONTENS offers us a very comfortable interface that makes updating content on the Internet very quick. And you don't even need any special training to be able to do that." Ms. Epiney explained that several editors can publish new content at the same, meaning the people working on the project save a considerable amount of time.

Installation and technical consulting on the Santé Jeunesse project was handled by CONTENS’ Swiss partner InfoTeam (http://www.infoteam.ch).
