RedDot Solutions, provider of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions for midmarket organizations, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hummingbird Ltd., has been recognized as the winner of the "2005 CMS Idol" held at the Gilbane Conference on Content Management Technologies, held November 29-December 1, 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts.

"2005 CMS Idol" was a fast-paced, entertaining set of competitive demonstrations in which six CMS vendors each gave seven-minute presentations showing the best features of their systems. In Round 2, the three finalists faced off with ten-minute demonstrations. RedDot's winning second presentation featured a scenario where a marketing intern quickly built a personalized marketing campaign with RedDot's CMS and LiveServer Web Content Management and Content Delivery software. The 2005 CMS Idol competition was presided over by an expert panel of judges and conference attendees chose the winner. RedDot was named "2005 CMS Idol" during the keynote on the final day of the event.

"CMS Idol is an excellent opportunity for our conference attendees to get lively demonstrations from several offerings," said Frank Gilbane. "This is a fun forum where attendees chose the winner after seeing succinct, comparative presentations on the latest content management solutions."

"We are honored that RedDot's innovative CMS and LiveServer technologies continue to be recognized by our colleagues, industry experts and end-users alike," said Niels Metger, CEO of RedDot Solutions."

RedDot Solutions will offer a webinar of its presentation on its Web site - www.reddot.com. Additionally, presentations from all the vendors will be offered on eWeek's Web site.

07.12.2005, RedDot Solutions AG
